For one night only, enjoy the various vocal stylings of Pamela Hart, Sondra Johnson, Thomas Hughes and Valarie Scott singing your favorite jazz, R&B and old school hits. These are Austin's finest vocalists singing solo and as a group.  An added attraction is the William Menefield Trio (Dr. William Menefield on piano, Nick Lewis on Bass and Kevin Scott on drums) with saxophonist Mike Malone adding his own colorful style around the vocals. 

You are in for an exciting evening of scats, grooves, sass, sultry singing and crooning on December 10, 2011 at Meltzer Uptown Pub, 7522 North IH 35.

Meltzer Uptown Pub is a new and exciting venue in Austin offering live entertainment and delicious food.  Come prepared to enjoy great food, libations and outstanding music.

Admission is $10.00 in advance, and $15.00 at the Door.

Non-profit, tax-exempt organization that raise funds by producing concerts and workshops. The purpose of Women in Jazz Association is to perpetuate the appreciation and performance of traditional jazz vocal and instrumental music. As vocal jazz is a declining art form, this purpose is charitable -- the protection and preservation of a valuable art form called jazz; that is, vocal jazz. It is through concerts, educational workshops, and performance opportunities of singers that provide the means to the end -- perpetuate vocal jazz music.
